BJP Treated Surgical Strikes Like Ad Campaign: Swara Bhaskar

Bollywood Actress Swara Bhaskar has been campaigning for the leaders of various Opposition Parties such as Congress and Aam Aadmi Party during the 2019 Lok Sabha Polls. Unlike many Film Celebrities, She is courageous enough to say BJP shouldn't retain power.
When quizzed why she was campaigning for Particular Candidates instead of any Political Party, Swara Bhaskar replied: 'I have nothing to gain from participating in the poll campaigning. I am campaigning for Candidates whom I feel are deserving based on the manner in which they fought for causes and against issues. I am not a member of any party. Frankly, I feel our constitution, democratic values and institutions have been under attack in the past 5 years. That's very dangerous!'.
Swara Bhaskar complained Mob Violence has been legitimised under NDA Rule. She alleged, 'Sadhvi Pragya Thakur who was fielded by BJP in Lok Sabha Polls is a mix of politics and crime. She is facing charges of murder and terrorism'.
The Actress accused NDA Government of politicising the Armed Forces. She added, 'Congress has never done such things when it's in power. BJP made Surgical Strikes like their Ad Campaign or Publicity Campaign'.
