BJP MLA Lands In Biggest Controversy, Sent To Jail!

Bharatiya Janata Party's firebrand MLA from Telangana T Raja Singh is in the news with his back-to-back controversies. He was taken into preventive custody and released later. Later he was arrested and the court granted him bail. However, he landed in another trouble. People are talking about the new development now.
The Gosha Mahal MLA was arrested by the cops from his residence earlier today. After his arrest, he was sent for a medical check-up. Based on the court orders he was sent to the Charlapalli jail earlier today. This is the second time he was arrested in three days. This time he was sent to jail.
Media reports say that Raja Singh was arrested under the Preventive Detention Act (PD Act), which is a very strong section. People who make notorious crimes are arrested under this section and the BJP MLA was reportedly arrested under this section.
The new development is by far the biggest controversy Raja Singh has ever been involved in his political life. Earlier too, he made some objectionable comments. But he was not arrested and sent to jail. He was also suspended from the party and the leadership asked him to give a strong reason why he should not be expelled.
His comments on Prophet Mohammed gave birth to many intense protests in the capital city Hyderabad. The Muslim-dominated Old city saw intense protests. The Muslim legislators are also urging that Raja Singh must be arrested for his objectionable comments.
