BJP MP aiming for a Rajya Sabha nomination from AP?

Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) firebrand Rajya Sabha member Subramanian Swamy is surprising everyone by supporting Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in various issues.
The alleged irregularities in the famous Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) is the much-talked-about issue in Andhra Pradesh. To everyone's surprise, the BJP MP came in support of YS Jagan and targeted Chandrababu Naidu in this regard. He even filed a defamation case against a pro-TDP channel for planting fake stories against the holy shrine.
Earlier last week, the BJP visited the temple city and offered his prayers to the Kaliyuga Daivam. Later, Swamy flew to Vijayawada to meet YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He was accompanied by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams chairman Y V Subba Reddy.
Now it is said that Swamy is displaying his support towards YS Jagan only to get a Rajya Sabha seat from the YSRCP as he is not confident of getting the same from the BJP.
It is quite evident that BJP might not favor the MP in the next term. On several occasions, Subramanian Swamy took a dig at the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi over several decisions, as fuel price hike.
Political observers are terming Swamy's sudden support and calling YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as the biggest Hindu than Prime Minister Narendra Modi are part of his efforts to get a Rajya Sabha nomination from AP.
However, Subramanian Swamy has a different version in this regard. The MP said, he is on a mission to free the Hindu temple from the government and this is why he had filed a defamation case against the channel.
