BJP MP calls High fuel prices As Government's Monumental Exploitation

The MP has lashed out at the BJP-led Centre over the rising fuel prices in the country. The MP called the high fuel prices as monumental exploitation by the Government of India.
Subramanian Swamy's tweet took the social media like a storm on how come an MP takes serious potshots at their government over the rising fuel prices which have allegedly reached the all-time high.
"Petrol price at Rs. 90 per litre is a monumental exploitation by GoI of the people of India. The price ex-refinery of petrol is Rs. 30/litre. All kinds of taxes and Petrol pump commission add up the remainder Rs.60. In my view petrol must sell at max. Rs. 40 per litre," his tweet read.
Subramanian Swamy didn't stop there, citing the price of ex-refinery of petrol which is Rs 30 per litre, he said in his view petrol should be sold at Rs 40 per litre maximum.
Swamy's tweet came when the opposition parties and critics are finding fault with the saffron party for the rise in fuel prices.
Now the ball is in BJP's court. It is interesting to know how the party will respond. Let us wait and see whether the party will react to the tweet or lets it go.
