A Member of Parliament has accidentally fallen in an open drain at Jamnagar in Gujarat Today morning. The news garnered Nationwide attention as very rarely does high-profile people face such problems.
MP Poonamben Madam paid a visit to a slum area in her Lok Sabha segment. This region is 330 kilometres away from the Gujarat capital, Gandhinagar.
Reportedly, The Slum-dwellers sought the help of local MP Poonamben Madam to stop the demolition of their homes. When the MP stood on a cement slab covering a 10-feet deep open drain, All of a sudden it collapsed. The BJP Lawmaker who suffered head injury was rushed to the nearby private hospital.
