BJP's Number 2 Mayn't Join Modi Cabinet
By: Tupaki Desk | 28 May 2019 9:07 AM GMTSpeculations are abuzz that Amit Shah who was elected as MP from Gandhinagar Constituency in Gujarat will be a key member in Narendra Modi Cabinet during the second term.
Soon after his swearing-in ceremony in 2014, Narendra Modi preferred his trusted aide Amit Shah to lead the party. While Veterans like LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi were sidelined completely, Seniors such as Rajnath Singh, M Venkaiah Naidu, Nitin Gadkari and Sushma Swaraj were silenced with Cabinet Berths. This is a strategy followed by Modi to ensure complete control over the Government & the Party. Will NaMo change his strategy and induct Shah into his cabinet during NDA-2?
Sources close to BJP Leadership rule out any such possibility. Amit Shah is most likely to continue as the BJP Chief. Why would Modi go against his most successful model?
Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony would be happening on May 30th. On that day, A clarity can be obtained on Amit Shah's role in the second term.
