BJP Sees Conspiracy Behind CBN's U-Turn?

Centre issued a letter to AP Government asking it to stop the spillway tenders of Polavaram Project & even came up with queries over expenditure/budget requirements. Following which, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu offered to handover the responsibility of completing Polavaram to Centre if needed. This sudden U-Turn led to many doubts in the BJP Camp.
AP BJP Leaders clarify they neither wish to distance BJP nor stall/delay Polavaram Project. They, however, complain pro-TDP media is deliberately throwing the blame on PM Narendra Modi in Polavaram issue. Saffron Leaders question why none of the TDP Leaders were condemning negative campaign if the AP Government has no role in it.
BJP Leaders remind Modi approved the ordinance to merge 7 mandals in AP for the sake of Polavaram Project in the first Cabinet Meeting itself. 'Rs 3,000 crore were spent for 60,000 acres during YSR regime. But now, Rs 9,000 crore are being sought for acquiring 6,000 acres. Has UPA Government sanctioned all the fund for such a massive project at once? Why would we cause hurdles for a National Project? It's unfair to blame BJP,' opines the Leaders of National Party.
