BJP spreading its wings in Andhra Pradesh?
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Jan 2020 11:16 AM GMTPost the 2019 general elections the political scenario in Andhra Pradesh has changed completely. The TDP party has lost the elections cheaply by winning just 23 seats which is the lowest from the time the party was formed.
On the other hand, YSRCP won 151 seats and formed the government. Since then many leaders are leaving the TDP party and accusing the party of encouraging over bossism and favouring only one caste.
In this entire chaos, the BJP benefited a lot politically and currently has 3 Rajya Sabha members which won one MLA and MP seat in 2019 elections. After the elections key leaders in TDP like Sujana Chowdary, CM Ramesh had left the TDP party and joined the saffron party making the TDP even weaker.
For a long time, rumours are erupting that former TDP MP J.C.Diwakar Reddy will join the BJP party very soon. Responding to these rumours Mr. Reddy said that he will join the party if the BJP makes the POK part of India.
Looking at the phenomenal growth of the saffron party in Andhra Pradesh, the political circles are citing that the BJP has proved itself as a shelter zone to the leaders who are looking for a party change.
