BJP Takes A Serious View Of Kamineni, Sujana Meeting With Nimmagadda

There is great shock within the BJP over the way its MP in Rajya Sabha Sujana Chowdary and former minister Kamineni Srinivas have hobnobbed with controversial state election officer Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar. What is more shocking for the party is that the duo has kept the BJP leadership both at the Centre and the state in the dark about this controversial meeting.
The party is also angry that the two leaders are in the BJP but are working for furthering Chandrababu Naidu's interests. Kamineni is one of the persons who filed a case against the decision of the YSRCP government on SEC. He had got a reprieve for Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar. Similarly, Sujana Chowdary has been lobbying to protect the interests of the TDP on Amaravati while still being in the BJP. A strong but silent section is opposed to it. They have reportedly taken the issue to the notice of party higher ups like Ram Madhav, GVL Narasimha Rao and Sunil Deodhar. They are arguing that they should have at least obtained permission of the party leadership before taking up such issues.
Meanwhile, the party leadership is also known to have sought the opinion of some key state leaders in this regard. There is a growing anger over these two leaders and CM Ramesh acting as agents and protectors of TDP interests in the BJP. Will the national leadership look into this?
