BJP Welcomes Kangana's Mother To Join The Party

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranautâs mother, Asha Ranaut, thanked Union home minister Amit Shah for providing Kangana with Y-plus security ahead of her Mumbai visit. In a video, Asha said that their family was associated with the Congress for several years but she switched her loyalty with the help did by BJP government.
Asha said the blessings of the entire country are with Kangana. She is proud that her daughter has always stood for the truth.
"I thank Union home minister Amit Shah. We are not even associated with that party (BJP), we were from Congress... My grandfather-in-law was a member of the Congress party. Even though they (BJP) knew that we were from the Congress from the beginning, they supported us," Asha said in Hindi.
After Asha's statements, Suresh Kashyap, State President of Himachal Pradesh BJP, has said that they would welcome Asha Ranaut if she decides to join their party.
