BJP Working On Old Ministry Into Social Justice Ministry?
X
Its been eight years since the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party came to power. During this period, the party left its mark by taking sensational decisions like scraping Article 370, demonetisation, controversial farm bills, citizenship law, and Land Acquisition Decree. Though farm bills were taken back, the BJP did not take a back step on the other issues.

The party which is aggressively spreading its wings in various regions is also making big efforts to repeat a hattrick of wins in Lok Sabha polls. The party is also confident of winning the upcoming Lok Sabha polls that are slated to be held in 2024. The polls are two years away from now.

Now a piece of sensational news has come out which says that the BJP is reportedly in plans to remove the minority affairs ministry. It is said that the ministry will be merged with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Though the old Ministry would be merged, it is said that the work and schemes it has been doing would not be stopped.

Reports say that the union government might be thinking that the Ministry of Social Justice is doing the job that the Minority Ministry is saying and there is no logic in having two different ministries for the same work.

If this appears true and the Minority Ministry gets merged into the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment it will turn out into a big political controversy and the opposition parties will lash out at the party and would target the saffron party on this.

Hyderabad-based AIMIM might aggressively target the BJP as the party has been targeting the union government on the alleged attacks on the Muslim community in the nation.

The Ministry of Minority Affairs was started back in 2006 by the then United Progressive Alliance (UPA)'s union government led by the grand old Congress party. The Ministry was started to empower the Minority communities in the country.

As per the census, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Parsis, and Jains are the minorities in the nation. The Ministry of Minority Affairs focuses on the issues faced by the communities and addresses them.
