Former TDP MLA Lashes Out At AP Government On Liquor Ban
By: Tupaki Desk | 3 March 2020 12:32 PM GMTIn the wake of the liquor ban in Andhra Pradesh, the opposition TDP has called for a press meet. Talking at the press meet former TDP MLA Bonda Uma raised many eyeballs as he can be seen with the liquor bottles belonging to various brands.
Uma has accused the government which made a fuss in the state in the name of liquor ban is taking many lives with cheap liquor. He even added that they are selling brands in AP which cannot be seen in other states and the MLAs of the ruling party are manufacturing adulterous liquor.
He also took a dig at CM Jagan's decision of liquor ban in the state and said the ruling YSRCP leaders are gaining crores of rupees in the name of commissions. They are selling only the brands which yield in more commission in the state.
"They are selling some crazy brands in the state leaving the top brands aside. By selling liquor according to their wish they are planning with the lives of the public. They are selling the liquor brands which the people don't know," he said.
"All these brands were named as Jagan brands. Many cases were filed with Village volunteers selling illegal liquor. Cheap liquor and desi liquor is been on a rise in the state," he added.
