Both Cong, BJP Want This Party In Their Fold

A political re-alignment of sorts is happening in neighbouring Chhattisgarh. With the sole leader of the party gone, the Chhattisgarh Janata Congress s now looking to merge the party either in the Congress or in the BjP.
The party led by Ajit Jogi played a formidable role as the third pole in the state known for just two main parties – the BjP and the Congress. Ever since Jogi's death, the party is finding itself in the crossroads. Jogi's wife Renu Jogi and son Amit Jogi are seriously thinking of merging the party in some other party. While many leaders want to go back to the Congress to enjoy the fruits of power, yet others are of the opinion that since the Congress gave Jogi a raw deal, it should not merge into the party. Instead, the BJP is a better option, they say.
Both the BjP and the Congress have already begun talking with the leaders of Jogi's party and its MLAs. Some are definitely moving closer to the BJP. It remains to be seen how both Renu and Ajit steer the party in the days to come.
