Oracle Corporation promoted Thomas Kurian as president of software product development and he is responsible for overseeing all of Oracles software products.
Kurian joined Oracle in 1996, and before that worked at McKinsey & Co according to the company website.Kurian name was reportedly referred by Larry Ellison who recently appointed as company's chairman.Kurian has long been seen as an Ellison favorite
Thomas Kurian hails from Kerala. Kurian did his schooling in St Josephs Boys School in Banglore. He came to the United States in 1986 to study at Princeton.He has an MBA from Stanford Universitys Graduate School of Business
