Naidu's Action, Boyapati's Direction!

On the first day of auspicious Godavari Pushkaralu, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and his family reached Pushkar Ghat in Rajahmundry for taking a holy dip. It took nearly 2 hours for the VVIP to leave the premises and pilgrims were made to wait during this time. When the gates were opened finally, A stampede took place due to heavy turnout and unruly crowd leading to the deaths of 29 people.

What made AP Chief Minister take 2 hours to have a holy dip? Actually, Most of the time was spent to shoot a short film on Godavari Pushkaralu for the sake of publicity. This Documentary was supposed to be aired on National Geographic Channel. Tollywood filmmaker Boyapati Seenu directed the shots featuring Chandrababu Naidu at Pushkar Ghat. The above picture is a clear proof of what happened within few hours after Godavari Pushkaralu kickstarted on July 14th.
