Most Destructive Batsman announces Retirement

Speaking at the press conference in Christchurch Today, The Black Caps captain told he would quit following the second Test Match against Australia at Hagley Oval starting from February 20th. "I loved playing for Black Caps but all good things have to come to an end. I'm just grateful for the wonderful experience of playing for my country," he told.
McCullum is all set to create of World record of playing 100 successive Tests. He would achieve this milestone with the match against Australia at the Basin Reserve on February 12th next year. No cricketer has achieved this feat so far and that gonna make it very special.
Recently, McCullum equalled Adam Gilchrist's record of most number of sixes (100) in Test Career. He might surpass the Australian in the next two Test Matches.
Brendon McCullum scored 6,273 runs from 172 innings and he is only next to New Zealand's highest run scorer Stephen Fleming (7,172 runs) in Tests. He is the first New Zealand player to score triple century, amassed 302 runs against India in 2013-14. Kane Williamson is likely to replace McCullum as skipper soon.
