Take A Selfie In Toilet, Get Rs 51,000!

Applicants under the ''Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivah/Nikah Yojna" in Madhya Pradesh are being told that if they want to get married and the brides-to-be want to become eligible to receive Rs 51,000 under the scheme, the grooms need to take a selfie inside their toilet
According to the government, the initiative is aimed at ensuring that toilets are constructed in every household in the state.
Officials stated that the toilet clause was there since the launch of the scheme in 2013, but photographs are a recent edition.
Grooms on clicking pictures
According to reports, around 77 couples got married in a mass ceremony at Central Library Ground in Madhya Pradesh. One of the grooms stated that he had submitted the form but he refused to take a selfie, the authorities stated that if the picture is not submitted then the application will be rejected. According to another groom, instead of clicking selfies, the government officials should visit every household to check if there is a toilet. On the other hand, one of the brides welcoming the initiative stated that there is nothing wrong with ensuring there is a toilet in every house.
