Rs.16 lakh Bride's Jewellery Stolen Moments before Marriage

As per reports gold weighing 60 tulas was stolen moments before a marriage was to be solemnised in Hindupur of Anantapur district on Friday.
The incident occured at Kanchi Kamakshi Kalyana Mandapam after the bride's family participated in a pre-marriage ritual on Thursday night. By night time the rituals was over and the bride removed her jewellery to take some rest. She handed over the jewellery to her relative, who packed them in a plastic bag.
After the rituals, all the relatives slept at the Kalyana Mandapam and on Friday morning they discovered that the gold jewellery was missing.
The marriage party searched the function hall and inquired about the bag with relatives and later the bride's uncle lodged a complaint with police. While police are investigating the missing jewellery, the marriage took place as scheduled.
