Britain Covid-19 Strain In India: AIIMS Director Sensational Comments Of Virus Entry To India!

The new mutant strain of coronavirus detected in the European country United Kingdom paved its way into India too. So far, 20 infections related to the strain were detected in India.
Six infections of the new mutation were detected in India on Tuesday, while 14 fresh infections were deported in India on Wednesday, taking the total toll of the UK strain infections in the country to 20.
All of the infected people were traced and shifted to a state-run quarantine facility accordingly. Their first and second contacts have been traced and tested for the pandemic.
Though the primary and secondary contacts of the infected people tested negative for the pandemic. They have been shifted to a quarantine facility as per the Covid-19 protocols.
The new strain left a heavy toll on Bengaluru as the Karnataka government has suspended the New Year celebrations in Bengaluru. The government has also imposed 144 sections during night times.
The other day, an apartment complex in Bengaluru has been shut down by the Municipal Corporation after two residents of the Apartment have tested positive for the new virus strain.
Making things worse, AIIMS director Randeep Guleria said, the Britain strain of pandemic might have entered India even before we thought. He guessed that the virus might have entered during November-December.
However, he said, though the new strain is more transmissible compared to the previous strain, we need not worry about it too much but weighed in on taking the required measures.
On the other hand, the union government has increased the testing facilities and step to curb the new virus strain. Special facilities like dedicated laboratories to test the UK returnees have been set up.
The union government has set up 10 dedicated labs in 10 different cities in India to test the samples of the passengers returned from the United kingdom. So far, nearly 107 samples were tested in these labs.
