Britannia to Invest Rs 125 crore in AP

Britannia MD Varun Berry met AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada to discuss about the proposal. When Mr. Varun informed that he was looking for a suitable place to set up Agro-Processing Unit to cater to the demands of Chennai & Bengaluru market, Naidu suggested him to choose Chittoor and assured him necessary cooperation.
Post the meeting, Chandrababu Naidu shared: "Had an interesting conversation with Britannia MD Varun Berry. They are interested to invest in agro-processing in AP".
Varun Berry said Britannia has got business interests in the making biscuits, cakes and dairy products. He opined Naidu's vision will make AP as NO.1 in the country within 10-15 years from now.
