Bro Anil's open criticism of Jagan: Says BC should be AP CM
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 March 2022 1:25 PM GMTIs a new party with major focus on the BCs in general and converted Christian BCs coming up in Andhra Pradesh. If you observe the moves of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's brother-in-law Bro Anil Kumar, it appears certain that he is trying to cobble up a political coalition of BCs.
On Monday, Anil Kumar was in Vizag and met the representatives from various BC communities. Many of them were clearly converts. Their connection with Bro. Anil Kumar appears to be because of the latter's evangelism. Those who participated said that the BCs were not benefited in any way in the YSRCP regime.
They said that North Andhra is dominated by the BCs, OBCs and other depressed classes. Anil himself said that he had asked all these people to vote for the YSRCP. So, it becomes his bounden duty to listen to their grievances. He said the BCs, OBCS and other such castes had played a key role in the victory of the YSRCP.
Then he said that he would very much like to see BC as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. This is being seen as a direct challenge to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. However, Bro Anil was careful when he said that forming a political party was no small deal. It is a tall order and involves a lot of hard work, he said. But, he also pointed out that there was pressure on him to form a party of the BCs.
