BRS Party Fixed Deposits Doubled In 2 Years!

The party is hopeful that it can take on the BJP and bring a farmer-friendly government. The party has been projecting itself as a pro-farmer party and KCR gave cheques to a few farmer families.
The BRS Foundation Day was celebrated in a big way and addressing the gathering the Chief Minister said that the party funds reached Rs 1250 crores and the money will be spent on running the party offices and construction of new party offices.
At the event, KCR said that the party has funds of Rs 1,250 crores and this includes 767 crore that are deposits. Having said that, the Chief Minister said the expenses like running the party activities, constructing party officers, and the campaign will be taken care of with the money.
While the numbers quoted by the Chief Minister came as a surprise for one and all, the numbers just took two years to get doubled. Back in 2021, the party has fixed deposits worth Rs 425 crores, cut to 2023, they went up to Rs 767 crores which are almost double.
Almost every party receives political funds and the ruling parties will have an advantage in the funding as it receives more funds. For the past few years, the TRS has been receiving funds in big numbers, and in 2021-22 the party received the highest funding among the regional parties. Compared to other ruling parties TRS has been receiving good funds.
The ADR report said that in 2021-22 the BRS party received as much as Rs 40 crores which is higher than parties like Aam Aadmi Party and others. Moreover, the ruling party in Telangana received funding from just 14 donations.

Earlier popular journalist Rajdeep Sardesai said that KCR told his close leaders that he would fund the campaign costs of the opposition parties in the country provided they project him as their leader. The journalist's statements became a sensation in the country and the opposition parties in Telangana targeted the ruling party asking from where he has got all the money to fund the campaign.
