BJP Rajya Sabha member and Minister of Finance of India Nirmala Sitharaman is gearing up to present the budget. The budget is the first budget in the country after the Coronavirus outbreak in India.

As announced earlier, the Budget this year will be paperless. As a major push for the "Digital India" mission, given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the budget will be presented paperless.

With the budget to be presented Paperless, Nirmala Sitharaman replaced the budget suitcase with a red tablet. According to the media reports, the Finance Minister will present the budget in the "Made in India" tablet.

The country is eagerly waiting for the budget sessions, as the Union Budget 2021-22 came after the novel Coronavirus left a heavy toll on the country, with several fields facing the wrath of the pandemic.

By opting for Paperless Budget, the union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has put an end to the long tradition of carrying the budget papers in briefcases, the tradition being followed for ages. The Finance Ministers usually use red, black, tan, or brown briefcases.

Nirmala Sitharaman's statements before the Union Budget 2021-22 have increased the expectations on the budget and made everyone wait for the budget. She said the budget will be "never before".
