Budweiser, the popular Beer brand produced by Belgium multi-national company, is now renamed as 'America' temporarily.
To bring a patriotic feeling in view of several Summer events, The Firm decided to replace 'Budweiser' with 'America' on its bottles, cans and packaging from May 23rd till the general election in November this year.
Budweiser Vice President Ricardo Marques believes rebranding and aggressive publicity campaign will work wonders during the Summer season.
Apart from Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day, Tournaments such as Olympics and Copa America Soccer were going to be happen in this Summer. Being one of top-selling beers in USA, Budweiser wants to cash in on this opportunity and hence began rebranding to garner the attention.
