By-Polls: TRS & TDP likely to retain SEATS!

The by-elections of Medak Lok Sabha and Nandigama Assembly segments witness a turnout of 67% and 68% electors respectively.

Before swearing in as CM, KCR resigned to Medak Lok Sabha from the constituency he got elected with record majority in 2014 Polls and he fielded Kotha Prabhakar Reddy as TRS Candidate in by-poll. On the other hand, Sitting TDP MLA Tangirala Prabhakara Rao breathed his last post general elections and the ruling party named his daughter Sowya as its candidate. Both TRS and TDP were confident of retaining the seats even though the polling percentage dropped.

Analysts say, TRS Candidate will surely come out victorious in Medak but majority might come down to below 3 lakhs from 3.97 lakhs votes. Even Tangirala Sowya might record a thumping win because of the sympathy wave.
