Bye Bye Bulldozer Baba... Bulldozer Mama is here

It appears Yogi Adityanath's image as Bulldozer Baba has become a hit political formula. The name stuck to Yogi because of his penchant for razing the properties of mafia dons, criminals and arsonists. In fact, SP leader Akhilesh Yadav used this term pejoratively to belittle Yogi. But, Yogi and the BJP turned it to their advantage and used it to enhance the image of Yogi as a man on mission mode.
Now another CM in a BJP-led state has taken fancy to this image. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has termed himself Bulldozer Mama and is out to decimate criminals, hooligans and mafia. Posters calling him Bulldozer Mama have sprung up everywhere in Madhya Pradesh. He too has warned the criminals and history sheeters to mend their ways failing which their properties would be razed to ground.
Shivraj Singh has earned the sobriquet as Mama because of his girl child friendly attitude. The girls across the state call him Mama and the title stuck. While Yogi used the title of Bulldozer Baba because of his saffron robes, Chouhan is calling himself Bulldozer Mama. True to his nickname, he said he would protect the honour of the girl children in the state from rowdies and goons.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan is a four-time chief minister of MP and is hugely popular. He is by far the longest serving CM among the BJP ruled state. He has never been defeated in an election so far. With MP going to polls in 2023, Chouhan appears to be preparing for a makeover from a friendly leader to a tough leader.
