Rajasekhar Reddy under House Arrest

Cops foiled the plan of Rayalseema Parirakshana Samithi president Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy to take up a 20 km 'Rythu Bathuku Theruvu' padayatra by placing him under House Arrest on Monday.
In protest against State Government's move to acquire the fertile lands belonging to farmers only to appese the Industrialists in the name of SEZs, Byreddy announced Padayatra from Pudhicherla to Kurnool. Kurnool CI and three SIs rounded up Mr.Reddy's residence at Kallur in Kurnool district even before he could leave to Pudhicherla. Subsequently, Byreddy's followers staged a dharna at their leader's house.
Byreddy demanded AP Government to release a white paper on the land acquisition taken up across the state. Pointing out that deserved persons were always denied jobs by companies like Jindal Cement Factory, L & T and Others, He also demanded a law to felicitate employment of locals in the Industries set up.
