C Ramachandraiah served as TDP Rajya Sabha Member during the regime of Chandrababu Naidu. He, however, backed the leadership of Chiranjeevi when Praja Rajyam Party was floated in 2008. After the dismal performance in 2009 Polls, PRP was merged with Congress and Ramachandraiah continued in the same party which offered him MLC Post till date. He now found the necessity to leave Congress as TDP Leadership is keen to have an alliance with the National Party in AP as well.
If the buzz in political circles is true, C Ramachandraiah is contemplating on joining Jana Sena Party.
Actually, C Ramachandraiah hails from Rayalaseema Region. He belongs to the Balija Community which generally owns Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. So, There is nothing surprise about this Senior Politician take such a call.
Whether or not Pawan Kalyan is willing to welcome C Ramachandraiah is a million dollar question. Why because, He is aware of the fact that Leaders like Ganta and Ramachandraiah influenced Chiru to merge PRP with Congress.
