Cabinet Reshuffle: Irani Ousted, Jaitley Rested!

PM Narendra Modi has carried out a Cabinet Reshuffle for the second time in his regime. On Monday night, Few changes have been made to the portfolios of Union Ministers.
Smriti Irani was ousted as Information and Broadcasting Minister. Her Deputy Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore was given independent charge of the Ministry.
This is for the second time in four years, Smriti Irani was relieved of a major portfolio. She was inducted into Union Cabinet as Human Resources Development Minister in 2014. Then, The Actress-turned-Politician was shifted to Textiles Ministry. 10-Months-Ago, She was given charge of I&B Ministry after M Venkaiah Naidu was elected as Vice President. She now has to settle only with Textiles Ministry.
Railway & Coal Minister Piyush Goyal was accorded additional charge of Finance Ministry temporarily as Arun Jaitley has been undergoing treatment for Kidney ailment. Jaitley underwent Kidney Transplant Surgery at AIIMS on Monday.
