A massive wildfire broke out in California, a western United States followed by a cloud of dense smoke. The wildfire is cited as the worst-ever by the environmentalists.
Despite the efforts put in by firefighters and rescue teams, the fire didn't come under control. Adding more problems, the heavy smoke made it difficult to continue the rescue operations.
The wildfire that took place in the El Dorado Ranch Park in southern California has resulted in thousands of acres getting burnt and thousands of buildings destroyed.
Thousands of people have been evacuated to safe places and so far 20 casualties were reported. More than 14,000 firefighters were called in for the rescue operations.
The wildfire followed by heavy smoke created lighting, which blocked the sunlight. The light created by the wildlife created an artificial glowing skyline that was Orange in color.
