Can Nirbhaya Get Justice Tomorrow?

The infamous Nirbhaya case which has gone through some shocking twists and turns has finally got a date for the execution of all the four convicts in the case. The four convicts will be hanged at 5.30 am tomorrow.

The petitions filed by the four convicts Akshay Thakur, 31, Pawan Gupta, 25, Vinay Sharma, 26, and Mukesh Singh, 32 in the Patiala court were been rejected by the court.

"No legal remedies are pending as of now. Pawan and Akshay's second mercy was also not entertained by the President of India," Public Prosecutor Irfan Ahmad told the court.

"My friend can move 100 applications, but these are not strictly legal remedies," he added.

Leaving everyone in a shock, the convicts in the case have moved the court through the lawyer AP Singh and filed a petition and said that their legal remedies were pending.

Amid much drama at the court, a convict's wife who has filed a petition to grant her divorce from her husband has fainted at the Patiala court. In her petition, she mentioned that she doesn’t want to be the widow of the convict.

One more doubt arises is that at least this time they will be hanged or not. The postponement in the death sentence has tested the patience of the normal public in this case.

Let's wait and see what happens tomorrow. Hope and pray that India's daughter Nirbhaya and her mother served justice after a long battle of seven years.
