Can NTR Take The Risk To Get Active In TDP Activities?
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 Dec 2022 10:39 AM GMTWill Nandamuri scion JR NTR ever work with the Telugu Desam Party floated by his grandfather is not a new debate. This has been going on for many months. A few TDP followers also want the same and the demand was raised in TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu's meeting.
It has to be mentioned here that NTR campaigned for the party a few years back. For the 2009 elections when Andhra Pradesh was a combined state NTR extensively toured the state and gave his best for the party. The campaign was impacted after he was severely injured in an accident.
Despite losing the elections, TDP lost many seats with a small margin in the triangular fight. However, a gap erupted between TDP and NTR slowly due to unknown reasons. NTR fans and a few TDP supporters want the star to be back in the party and relieve it.
As the grand old party is dealing with a big crisis the demand got momentum. Chandrababu Naidu is getting old and a new force is required in the party to give a much-needed boost.
Amid this, Taraka Ratna, half-brother of Tarak made some interesting comments. Speaking to the media the Nandamuri hero said that Tarak will venture into politics at the right time and NTR will decide at the right time.
Without any doubt, NTR fans were excited after Taraka Ratna made the comments. But the political experts have something else to say. NTR is active in films now after the super success of magnum ops RRR. He is a Pan-India star now.
Even if he gets into TDP activities in a few months then he has to dedicate around two years to make the party strong once again. Moreover, he might get targeted by the ruling YSRCP if he gets into the party.
Like how Pawan Kalyan's films are targeted, NTR films might also get targeted in Andhra Pradesh. The question is whether NTR can take the big risk for the sake of the Telugu Desam Party. If he wants to get active in the party then he should clear the alleged issues between him and the party.
