Canada Reports Biggest Cyber Breach, More Than 9k Accounts Hacked

This shocking incident took place in Canada, where more than 5,000 Revenue Agency accounts in the country were subjected to hacking and they did a failed attempt to access crucial data.
Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat issued an official release in this regard and said after the cyber attacks, all the hacked accounts were suspended as a precautionary measure.
The Canadian government called for a probe into this and directed the concerned authorities to see if any official and crucial information was leaked from the accounts that were subjected to hacking.
It has been widely reported that the cyber attack was mainly aimed at GCKey service that are used by Revenue Agency accounts and Federal departments. More than 9,000 usernames and passwords were suspended.
