Pulling off an American stunt, the North American nation witnessed mass stabbing incidents. As many as 10 victims lost their lives.
The shocking development is from Canada. A mass stabbing incident was reported from the Saskatchewan province on Sunday. As per the official data, 10 victims lost their lives while 15 people sustained injuries and were rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment
The horrific incident reported in Canada has grabbed everyone’s attention and prayers are pouring in for the injured and the family members of the deceased.
Reports say that the stabbings were reported from multiple locations. The cops were informed about this and they reached the spot and carried out the required procedure. The injured persons were shifted to the hospital for treatment.
A few eyewitnesses say that the accused left the places after carrying out the stabbings. Based on the eyewitnesses and the CCTV footage, the concerned police are investigating the matter and assured that the accused will be arrested and the case will be cracked at the earliest.
The police department is busy investigating the matter and the family members of the accused are hoping that the accused will be arrested soon and they will get justice. Speaking to the media, the cops said there is no information about the accused as of now and they are working on it.
Reacting to this, the authorities urged people to be cautious and not meet suspicious people. Having said that, they made an appeal to the locals to not take the deserted places for travel as it could be dangerous.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed his shock over what happened and dubbed it heartbreaking. Condemning the attacks, the Prime Minister said, his thoughts are with the deceased and the family members who lost their loved ones.
"The attacks in Saskatchewan today are horrific and heartbreaking.I'm thinking of those who have lost a loved one and of those who were injured," the Prime Minister said on Twitter.
