Canada Good News To Indians In Visas

While Trump administration in America is acting strictly on Indian immigrants, it's neighbouring country Canada is welcoming Indian students in a grand manner. Canada introduced a new policy for the speedy issue of Visas to the students coming from India and three other countries. Canada has done huge changes to the present visa policy to the students and decreased the time for visa processing. Nearly one lakh Indian students are pursuing higher education in Canada as per the official estimates. As the student visa applications are increasing, Canada has introduced a new scheme to benefit the students from India, China, Vietnam, Phillippines. They have introduced Student Direct Stream (SDS).
Britain has recently simplified visa rules for the foreign students who are planning to study in Britain Universities. Britain home department has introduced the amendments bill to the immigration policy in the Parliament on this Friday. But they have confined these amendments to 25 countries by which are declared by Britain as less-dangerous countries. But India didn't find a place in this list. Indian students who are planning to study in Britain got upset with the decision. In such a scenario, Canada's visa policy came as a good news.
If the students are applying for Canada visa in Students Direct Stream(SDS), they should have additional qualifications. They will be given priority in issuing permanent residence, citizenship. The procedure will take only 45 to 60 days. The students who don't have higher qualification can apply for normal student visas.
