The Andhra Pradesh wing of Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) which is putting in good efforts to spread its wings in the state had made elaborative measures to start a meeting to target the ruling YSRCP. The meeting is titled Prajagraha Sabha and is scheduled to commence between 1 to 5 p.m.

However, the meeting planned by the AP BJP did not go well with Andhra Pradesh Information Minister Perni Nani who breathed fire on the leaders in regard to the Sabha.

Addressing the media at a press briefing from the party office in Tadepalli, Perni Nani accused the BJP leaders of indulging vote bank politics and dubbed the meeting as part of the efforts. On this occasion, he slammed the BJP leaders.

The Minister also accused the BJP of following the TDP agenda of vote bank politics. Dubbing the Prajagraha Sabha as a platform to endorse the ideology of the TDP, Perni Nani asked why the BJP is planning such a meeting. Can't the party see the other issues, he asked.

Slamming the BJP leaders for raising their voice against the alcohol prices, Perni Nani opined that the BJP leaders should worry about the fertilizer rates that are going up rapidly.

The BJP should give more focus to public issues. Rather than focusing on liquor prices, they should worry about the rising petrol and diesel rates. They should speak about the petrol and diesel prices at the meeting, the Andhra Pradesh Information Minster said.

During the press meet, Perni Nani drew a comparison between the prices before and after the BJP rose to power in the Centre. The fertilizer Bag was Rs 800 in 2014 which now rose to Rs 1700. The Centre says they can't buy paddy and imposes restrictions. The Union Government should regulate the prices. States can take action only on the black markets. They are saying that we are taking debts. Didn't the Centre take any debts? We are showing the details of every single penny we are taking as debts, he said.

Perni Nani also asked if we should call BJP a national party as the party is in alliance with the regional party TDP, he asked.
