Theft case against AP Speaker's Son
By: Tupaki Desk | 30 April 2017 10:15 AM GMTAP Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao's Son Siva Ramakrishna attacked a Cable Channel in Narsaraopeta of Guntur district on March 17th last year. Supporters of Kodela had gone on a rampage in Prakash Nagar and Peddacheruvu areas. They had even destroyed Drums and stolen Amplifiers belonging to the Cable Channel operator.
Nallapati Cable Vision Managing Director Koteswara Rao filed a complaint in Guntur 1 Town Police. However, Cops haven't booked the case against Kodela's Son and his Supporters due to political pressure.
Finally, Koteswara Rao moved High Court for justice. High Court reacted seriously upon knowing about the inaction of the police department. HC ordered Rural SP, DSP, One Town & Two Town CIs to appear before court on April 6th this year. Cops apologised to the court for what has happened. Subsequently, HC directed Cops to register the case against Speaker's Son and submit the investigation report by May 9th.
