Case filed against Gandhi's Great Grandson

A case was filed against Tushar Gandhi in Jalandhar for making controversial statement while speaking to media in Jaipur. "Bhagat Singh was a criminal for British Rulers and because of this reason Mahatma Gandhi hasn't asked for suspension of his death sentence," he said.
Kishan Lal, Chairman of the NGO Jan Jagriti Manch, filed a complaint with Police Commissioner seeking action against Tushar Gandhi. As a result, A case was booked against Mr. Tushar under Section 295 (A) (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class) of the Indian Penal Code.
Tushar's statement given strength to the reports that Mahatma Gandhi had an opportunity to stop Bhagat Singh's execution but he didn't do so for some reason.
