Case filed against Hyd-based Engineer for passing objectionable comments on third wave!

Making objectionable comments in relation to the possible third wave that will create panic among the public has costed a high price for a chemical engineer based out of âPearl city' Hyderabad after a police case was filed against him.
Going into detail, a person named Dr. Paruchuri Mallik, a Chemical engineer has appeared in a debate on a television channel. During the debate, he made comments that spread false information on the third wave.
Finding objection with his comments, Telangana's State Director of Public Health and Family Welfare Dr. G. Srinivas Rao has moved the Sultan Bazar Police Station.
In the debate, the chemical engineer reportedly said, during the third wave, one person from every house would lose their lives. The viral video clip went viral on social media and YouTube channels.
His comments did not go well with DPH. Opposing the comments, Mr. Rao questioned, how come a person who is not an expert can pass such comets that can trigger fear and panic among people.
'P. Mallik had passed these comments without any proper evidence and scientific backing. These comments will create panic among the general public. No institution or individual has made predictions on the third wave,' Srinivas Rao said.
A case has been lodged against Parchuri Mallik under Section 54 of the Disaster Management Act and Section 505 of the Indian Penal Code. The investigation is underway and more details are underway.
