Cash-for-bail case: Gali Gets bail!

High Court today granted bail to former Karnataka minister and mining king Gali Janardhana Reddy in cash-for-bail controversy. However, the mining baron will remain in the prison as he is yet to get bail in the main case against him i.e Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) scam.
CBI recently offered him conditional bail on OMC and imposed several restrictions on him.But the counsel of Gali objected some of the conditions and appealed in Supreme Court. Acting upon this Supreme Court posted hearing to next month so that Gali has to stay in the jail for another one month.
CBI has set several conditions to Gali while granting the bail.It said that he should remaining Bengaluru and asked him to restrain from visiting Belalry.It also asked him not to leave the country and asked him to report in Police Station once in a week.Apart from all he also asked to not to threaten Witnesses and not to destroy evidences. He is currently lodged in Chanchalguda Central Jail in Hyderabad
