Viral: Caste On SC, ST Candidates Chest!

Hospital Authorities asking SS, ST Candidates selected for the post of constables to write their respective caste on their chest when they arrived for the medical examination triggered a controversy. This shocking incident happened in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday.
SP Birendra Singh ordered for an inquiry considering what has happened as a very serious matter. Even District Civil Surgeon assured appropriate action on the medical board.
At the same time, Few Police Officers informed that hospital authorities had done so to ensure there were no errors. 'Actually, SC/ST Candidates have few exceptions when it comes to height and health parameters required to qualify as Constables. This is why they were asked to have caste marks on their chests to avoid misunderstanding,' they explained.
This incident irked Shivraj Singh Chauhan-led BJP Government. Dalit Leaders across the Nation blamed the national party projecting it as an attack on weaker sections.
