Telangan state government has finalized the district codes for registration of vehicles.Its known that central government has permitted the state government to register motor vehicles in Telangana state with ‘TS’ code.
Earlier, the Centre had given permission for registration of vehicles with ‘TG’ code but the state government wanted TS instead of TG.Transport minister P Mahender Reddy told media persons that the registration of new vehicles would come into force from June 12.
There are around 70 lakh vehicles in the state. All the vehicles having AP registration number plates should have new number plates within four months, the minister said.Below mentioned are the district wise codes to be allotted to the telangna vehicles.Check which number was allotted for your district.
