Sheena Bora case: CBI's Biggest Dilemma!

Right from the beginning, Former Star India CEO Peter Mukherjea maintained he was unaware of the conspiracy to kill Sheena Bora and always believed she might be alive somewhere.
CBI which named Peter Mukherjea as an accused with role in conspiring to kill Sheena Bora & destroying evidence in the charge sheet is in dilemma now. Why because, Peter who was in UK when Sheena Bora was murdered on April 24th, 2012 tried to find the victim's whereabouts & gain access to her call data just two days later (April 26th, 2012). Peter sought the help of Mumbai Cop to get Sheena's call data records. These developments only gives a feeling that may be Peter isn't aware of Sheena's murder and why would he enquire about her whereabouts if he is involved in the crime.
Responding to CBI's claim that Peter Mukherjea told to his Son Rahul that Sheena Bora was in US few days after her murder, The counsel of Peter argued his client has reacted that way only to bridge the gap between his wife Indrani and Rahul (his son from first marriage).
Indrani Mukherjea sent an email to Peter Mukherjea impersonating as Sheena Bora almost one year after her murder. Content of the email sent on March 14th, 2013: 'It may all sound very bizarre to you but this and only this is the real truth. Indrani is neither my sister nor my mother but just a good Samaritan who arrived in our lives a few years ago'.
CBI have nothing other than Peter's phone conversation with Rahul to establish that the Ex-Star India CEO was guilty of committing the crime. Most of the updates till now only suggests Peter was kept in dark by Indrani and he believed she might be alive somewhere.
