YS Viveka Case: CBI Files A New Case And Separate FIR!

The alleged murder case of former MP and YS Jagan's uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy was handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) to probe deeper.
The investigation process, in this case, came to a halt after the investigating officers and witnesses catching the novel Coronavirus resumed again and gained momentum.
It has been reported that the agency has speeded up the investigation in this case and registered a fresh case by registering a separate First Information Report(FIR) in this regard.
Earlier, the Kadapa Police have registered the case as a suspicious case under Section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code, while the CBI reportedly registered a case under section 302 of IPC.
To further probe in the much talked about case, the case was assigned to the Special Crime Branch-III of Delhi CBI by the CBI by appointing Deepak Gaur as the Special investigation officer.
So far, the CBI sleuths have grilled the suspects and accused in YS Viveka's case. The accused include jail inmates and a footwear shop owner from Kadapa. His drivers were also questioned as part of the probe.
