CCS Police Seize RGV's Laptop

Ram Gopal Varma appeared before Central Crime Station (CCS) on Saturday in connection with the case filed against Social Activist Devi over 'God, Sex and Truth' and inappropriate comments against Women in the TV Debate. The Filmmaker was made to answer 24 questions during the interrogation. Whereas, Media have information about only 10 of them so far.

Cyber Crime DCP Raghuveer: 'We will treat him just alike any other accused. Whether to arrest or not depends on the answers given by RGV and evidence we have. Investigation will be on both GST & Objectionable Comments against women. IT Act is a bit complicated. We need to have necessary evidence to prove the charges in court'.
Investigation of Ram Gopal Varma ended within 3 hr 25 min. Cops seized Varma's laptop to collect necessary technical information to strengthen the case. Even a photograph of the filmmaker with CCS Police has been released to the media.
RGV stepped out of CCS Office at 3.48 PM. He refused to brief media about the interrogation and left the spot after getting into his vehicle.
Social Activist Devi: 'Actually, The case was filed by Women Organizations not Devi alone…it's not my personal issue, but something related to all the women. I thank CCS DCP Raghuveer and Cops who grilled Varma. Powerful people might use the loopholes in the law as per their convenience. Let the court decide'.
