CCTV Turned Off During Jaya Hospitalisation
By: Tupaki Desk | 22 March 2018 12:49 PM GMTApollo Chairman Prathap C Reddy revealed all the CCTV Cameras in Chennai's Apollo Hospital were turned off during the 75 days hospitalization of former Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa. He told all the relevant documents were submitted to the Justice A Arumughaswamy Commission which is probing the death of Amma.
Prathap C Reddy: 'Soon after Jayalalithaa was admitted, CCTVs had been switched off as they don't want everyone to watch the treatment being offered. All the other patients were shifted to other ICU. Only one out 24 rooms in the ICU were used. We follow a policy that nobody would be allowed in the ICU, except for close relatives and that too for short time. We didn't permit anyone to meet her as her condition was critical. All the reports had been submitted to the Commission. We are even ready to appear before it if they need any further information'.
Mr.Reddy said Apollo has done it's best to save the life of Jayalalithaa but she passed away due to cardiac arrest on 75th day. 'Doctors, Technicians, Nurses and Ward Boys took good care of Jayalalithaa. We have high hopes on her recovery. Even I said she is doing well. Unfortunately, She passed away,' says the Apollo Boss.
