Centre Announces 30 Virus Affected Districts In India

But there are some states which the cases are rising and particularly severe in some districts. For the first time in the last three months, less than 50,000 positive cases were reported in the country on Tuesday. During the last 24 hours, 10,32,795 people were tested and 46,790 people were found positive for the virus, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
However, the Union Health Ministry said that 67 per cent of the currently active cases across the country were in just six states. It has released a list of the top-5 districts in the respective states. The virus is found in 30 districts across the country.
AP has 5 districts out of 30 districts where the corona is severe across the country. Covid cases are highest in East Godavari, West Godavari, Chittoor, Guntur and Prakasam districts, according to the latest Center data. Also on Tuesday, 457 cases were reported in East Godavari and 524 in West Godavari.
However, the infections in AP are much lower than in the past, but the positive cases are being reported in both the Godavari districts. On the other hand, the number of deaths has also come down drastically compared. The death toll dropped to 28 on Tuesday from 100 in the past.
