Centre approves mega project Regional Ring Road(RRR) in Hyderabad

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, aka KCR, has pitched an idea for the Regional Ring Road (RRR) back in 2017. The mega project was proposed to interlink the districts with the pearl city Hyderabad.
Now the Union government came up with a piece of good news by giving principle approval for the Regional Ring Road (RRR). Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy confirmed the same.
Kishan Reddy addressed a Press meeting in the national capital Delhi to announce the news of the mega-project getting a green signal from the union government. The Minister opined that the project would help in developing the state.
The mega project would cover a distance of 30 to 50 km within the limits of the Nehru Outer Ring Road(ORR). The cost of the construction would be more than 7,000 crores.
It has to be noted that, G. Kishan Reddy has earlier written to the concerned Minister, Nitin Gadkari who holds multiple portfolios, Road Transport & Highways, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
The megaproject connects Bhongir, Choutuppal, Ibrahimpatnam, Chevella, and Shankarapalli.
