Telangana Government ordered Genco to continue generating electricity at Srisailam Power Project.
After meeting with Union Minister Uma Bharti, Irrigation Minister Harish Rao shared with media that Centre has permitted the Telangana Government to generate power at Srisailam. He even shared Uma Bharti ordered Krishna Water Board to submit a report on water supply to Handri Neeva and Pothireddy Padu within 48 hours. He pointed out receiving clear assurance from the Centre on helping the farmers of Telangana.
Harish Rao mentioned power generation at Srisailam would continue until the demands of farmers were met. TRS Government wants to supply electricity for at least 6 hours to Agriculture Sector.
