Chandrababu Cuts Atchen Naidu To Size

TDP AP president Atchen Naidu is angry and upset. Though Chandrababu Naidu has given him the state president's post, he is not allowing him to assert himself. Not only has Chandrababu indicated that he would not be available for Atchen Naidu's swearing in ceremony, but he also asked Atchen to celebrate the programme in a simple manner in Vijayawada.
As if this was not enough, Chandrababu has also announced the state committee without even bothering to consult him. Though Atchen Naidu is the president of the AP unit of the TDP, he was not kept in the loop. It is also reliably learnt that Chandrababu wants to clip Atchen Naidu's wings and ensure that his son Lokesh alone gets the prime position in the party. He does not want anyone else getting popular. All these have made Atchen unhappy.
He is said to be dissatisfied and realises that this was nothing but a ploy to garner BC votes. BC leaders, who too are upset, are reminding Atchen that Chandrababu Naidu did the same thing with KE Krishnamurthy too. KE was made the deputy CM and was given the charge of revenue. But, he was not part of any land allotments and even the capital city construction. Even as the deputy CM, he had no real power.
